Janet Kay Perry

Janet Kay Perry (nee Kotter) Age 68, of Wilmington, IL passed away peacefully and entered into eternal life with her family by her side, Monday, April 20, 2015 at Presence St. Joseph Medical Center in Joliet, IL. Born July 21, 1946 in Vincennes, IN to the late Christopher and Louvina (nee Richardville) Kotter. She was previously employed at Presence St. Joseph Medical Center in Joliet as a certified nursing assistant and also worked in medical records. Member of the St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church and Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge #241 both in Wilmington. Janet loved to watch her grandchildren in all their various activities. In her leisure, she enjoyed going to garage sales and crocheting. Surviving are her loving and devoted friend and partner, Wayne Borello of Wilmington; four daughters, Christina “Tina” (Michael) Brnca of Coal City, IL, Carol Lee Perry of Coal City, Katy (Brian Bidwell) Perry of Coal City, and Jennifer (Brian) Leach of Coal City; ten grandchildren, Malorie (Michael) Mlyniec, Brandon (Kaitlin) Larson, Whitney (Stephan Porterfield, fiancé) Leach, Annie Brnca, Shelby Leach, Jacob Brnca, Emily Perry, Melissa Perry, Mackenzie Leach, and Lucas Perry; two great grandchildren, Aiden and Zachary Mlyniec; two brothers, Robert (Sue) Kotter of Evansville, IN and Jim (Mary) Kotter of Vincennes, IN; two sisters, Pat (late Dean) Later of Vincennes, IN and Carolyn (late Lewis) Pohl of Vincennes, IN; numerous nieces and nephews; and extended Borello family, Steve, Lori, Joe, Suzi, Mike, and families. Preceding her in death were three brothers, Ralph, Herb, and Norman Kotter; and one sister, Linda. Funeral services will be from the R.W. Patterson Funeral Homes, Ltd. & Crematory, Braidwood Chapel, Saturday, April 25, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. to the St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Wilmington for Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Wilmington.
