Age 77, of Braidwood, IL, passed away Friday, November 27, 2020 at Riverside Medical Center in Kankakee, IL. Born February 4, 1943 in Detroit, MI to the late Walter and Gertrude (nee Horn) Engle. Beverly was employed by ASM a company that provided product demonstrations at numerous stores. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, and playing cards with her many friends within the Braidwood community. She loved her family, especially when she was spending time with her grandchildren. Surviving are two sons, Ernest Garza of Taylorville, IL and Adon (Lisa) Garza of Fisher, IN; one daughter, Rosemary Hatalla of Manteno, IL; five grandchildren, Larry (Latisha) Hatalla, Faith (Ryan) Grace, Hope Hatalla, Jacob Hatalla, and Isabella Sophia Garza-De Leon; six great-grandchildren, Hailey, Noelle, Adelina, Harley, Chloe, and Alaina. Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Pedro Garza; three brothers, Leonard, Jerry, and Joe; and two sisters, Shirley and Lorraine. Visitation for Beverly will be at the R.W. Patterson Funeral Home & Crematory, Braidwood, Friday, December 4, 2020 from 4-7 p.m. A private funeral service for the immediate family will begin at 7:00 p.m. The funeral will be broadcasted via Zoom, please call the funeral home for further log in information. Cremation rites will be accorded following services. All attendees are required to wear face coverings, follow social distancing guidelines, and due to current capacity requirements, please be brief with your condolences to allow other guests to pay their final respects.
