Elvera Margaret Ernst (nee Liebrecht) Age 91, of Gardner, IL, passed away Monday, October 3, 2016 at Heritage Health in Dwight, IL. Born April 19, 1925 in Ottoville, OH to the late Lawrence and Francis (nee Schumaker) Liebrecht. Elvera retired from the Delphos Memorial Home in Delphos, OH. She was a member of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Coal City, IL. Surviving are two sons, James H. (Pat) Ernst and Donald E. (Brenda) Ernst; one daughter, Margaret Ann (Tony) Dearing; seven grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; brothers, Harold (late Helen) Liebrecht, Cleo (Doris) Liebrecht, Joseph (JoAnn) Liebrecht, and Gerald (Jennifer) Liebrect; sisters, Mary Ann (Richard) Mickel and Carol (Gerald) Fischer. Preceding her in death was her husband, Carl H. Ernst, whom she married August 3, 1946; bothers, Eugene Liebrecht and Robert Liebrecht; and sister-in-law, Jeanette Liebrecht. Funeral services will be at the Harter & Schier Funeral Home in Delphos, OH. Interment will be in Resurrection Cemetery in Delphos.
