Age 46, of Zion, IL formerly of Custer Park, IL passed away Thursday, February 24, 2022 at Northshore Hospital in Evanston, IL. Born August 5, 1975 in Morris, IL. Surviving are his parents, Gary Lee and Carol Lynn (nee Housman) Zilm, Sr. of Custer Park; daughter, Savannah of Coal City, IL; three brothers, Donathan Zilm of Kankakee, Frederick Zilm of Essex, IL, and Ralph Zilm of Custer Park; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Visitation for Gary will be at the R.W. Patterson Funeral Home & Crematory, Braidwood, Saturday, March 5, 2022 from 1-5 p.m. Cremation rites will be accorded following visitation. Inurnment will be held at a later date in Custer Township Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the family to offset funeral expenses would be appreciated.
