Robert J. Rossi Age 71, of Marseilles, IL, formerly of Minooka and Braidwood, IL passed away Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at Morris Hospital. Born January 27, 1949 in Joliet, IL to the late Peter S. and Josephine (nee Balagna) Rossi. Bob graduated from Joliet West High School with the Class of 1967. He formerly worked for Fentool in Joliet and Jemco Engineering in Minooka. Bob had a love for cars, he especially enjoyed his 1966 Chevelle. He was an excellent mechanic that always had answer for anyone that needed his advice and his shop was a very popular meeting place for anyone interested in cars. Surviving are two brothers, Stephen Rossi of New River, AZ and Peter (Jan) Rossi of Morris; one sister Mary (John) Ogg of Braidwood; and numerous extended family, cousins, and friends. Preceding him in death were his parents. Visitation for Bob will be at the R.W. Patterson Funeral Home & Crematory, Braidwood, Monday, December 21, 2020 from 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. Committal services will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Braidwood. All attendees are required to wear face coverings, follow social distancing guidelines, and due to the capacity requirements, please be brief with your condolences to allow other guests to pay their final respects.
