Shirley Mae Fredericks (nee Hainline) Age 78, of Braceville, IL passed away Tuesday, February 8, 2022 surrounded by her family at Morris Hospital in Morris, IL. Born October 2, 1943 in Joliet, IL to the late Robert and Mary Ann (nee Rapcan) Hainline. Shirley retired from Johns Manville, Inc. in Rockdale after several years employment. She married Ernest Ronald “Ron” Fredericks on May 21, 1962 in Joliet and together they created their family legacy. Spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren was her pride and joy. Surviving are her husband of fifty-nine years, Ron Fredericks; six children, Donald Fredericks of Morris, Ronald (Susan) Fredericks of Joliet, Cheryl Hairald of Howell, MI, Debra (James) Rhodes of Braidwood, IL, David (Glenna) Fredericks of Versailles, IN, and Michael Fredericks of Braceville; fourteen grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Robert (Renee) Hainline and Ronald (Linda) Hainline; and numerous nieces, nephews, and their families. Preceding her in death were her parents, Robert and Mary Ann; and infant son, Michael Joseph Fredericks. Cremation rites will be accorded. Cremation rites have been accorded. A Memorial visitation will be celebrated for Shirley and her late husband, Ron together at the R.W. Patterson Funeral Home & Crematory, Tuesday, February 22, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in her name may be directed to St. Jude’s Research Hospital, P.O. Box 50, Memphis, TN 38101-9929.
